ADVOCACY INCLUDES ENGAGING POLITICALLY
Our political neutrality allows AIDNW unique access to engage many organizations, organizers, and stakeholders to ensure we can best meet the needs of those in detention. However, we acknowledge immigration and immigration enforcement is inherently political. We encourage all members of our community to engage in the political process, including voting and contacting their elected officials to ask questions, advocate, and demand policies that honor the dignity, safety, and respect for all immigrants.
Below is a list of the elected officials who have oversight over the Northwest ICE Processing Center (NWIPIC) in Tacoma and their contact information. Find your own elected officials here.
